My Greatest Teacher by Marita Necosia Lindongan
Everybody can be great because everybody can serve. You Don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Teaching Children really needs patience and dedication. Children at Crossing Bae are just ordinary but their hearts are really hunger in God's word. Every Saturday 9 A.M. our class will start. The leaders will fetch their playmates and neighboorhood children and bring them all to our meeting place under the mango tree. 30 or more kids are present every Saturday.
I really Thank God for the protection He is giving to us. We dont have any classroom or any house where we can held our Good News class, we only have a mango tree and it's shade to protect us against the heat of the sun and ofcourse God with us.
My Students are very eager to listen, sing Praises/ Action songs and each of them have their own assigned day for opening/ closing prayer.Every last Saturday of the month we also have games with simple prizes.
I am really happy that I am one of the volunteer teacher's in UHWI. Love for the Children means a lot, Love for God who created those kids is very important for one to continue doing God's Ministry for Children. Even though I am not a Professional Teacher. A heart full of Love really matters. Maybe a degree in teaching is not so important in this field because God will teach you how to teach those kids that He love's best.
I am a Teacher, a keeper of Faith and I thank God for it everyday.
